Prior to founding ENVY, Yu Zhi found his passion for the metals markets, and developed unique insights into the industry by spending four and a half years as an auditor for commodities companies at KPMG.
He has been a Chartered Accountant (Singapore) since 2014, and graduated from Nanyang University with Honours in Accountancy.

The research team meticulously monitors global trends affecting asset classes across the board and together with a sound and balanced mix of fundamental and technical analysis techniques, they are able to provide solid and insightful analysis in identifying favourable entry and exit positions for the fund to take. The team also looks through potential deals that the fund could undertake, and conducts stringent research to assess the profitability and risk to ascertain that the deals are able to maximise the value for the funds allocated.
Given the substantial exposure the funds have on commodities, the team’s experience is mainly focused in the field of holding positions of trading and risk & analysis. We take the approach of being an expert in the fundamental dynamics of supply and demand, which we believe is the cornerstone for how prices are and will be trending. This in-depth understanding will also help to position the fund in the right direction and allow it to thrive regardless of a bull or bear market.
